The consular sector is monitoring the situation of Egyptian expats in Sudan around the clock in light of recent developments in the country, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday 15/04/2023.
The Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum advised expats to exercise extreme care, avoid high-risk locations, prevent needless movements, and remain at home until the situation stabilized, the statement read.
The embassy makes contacts with Egyptian individuals and students living in Sudan to ensure that they receive the necessary care, it concluded.
