Four fires in Lattakia countryside extinguished

Lattakia, SANA- Members of the Forestry Department in the Lattakia Agriculture Directorate extinguished a fire caused by rocket shells fired by terrorist organizations, which fell in Taurus (Rabi’a) in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Chairman of the Department Jaber Sukour told SANA reporter that a fire broke out in Taurus (Rabi’a) area, with an area of 300 square meters, as a result of the terrorist organizations’ attacks with rocket shells.

The firefighting teams worked to put out the fire.

The firefighting teams also put out three fires, the largest of which was in the farms of al-Matrikiya village of in Qardaha countryside and a fire in al-Shir village in al-Haffah area and other one in al-Bassa.
