Brussels, — Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs and Negotiations at the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaishek met here on Monday with European Union (EU) Senior Coordinator for Maritime Security in the North-West Indian Ocean (NWIO) Ambassador Michael Pulch, on the sidelines of the 31st session of the Joint Cooperation Committee meeting between GCC and EU.
The meeting reviewed the efforts being exerted to enhance maritime security in the region, and the importance of promoting cooperation in protecting maritime security, in addition to exchanging views on the current situation in the region.
