The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Budaiwi, condemned the desecration of another copy of the Quran in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, on Thursday. Budaiwi said, “These disgraceful and unacceptable acts provoke the feelings of Muslims around the world” asding that the Swedish authorities must take immediate action to stop these behaviours and hold extremists accountable, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
