Giant container ship, “EVER AIM”, crosses Suez Canal, says SCA chairman

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie said that a giant container ship, “EVER AIM”, crossed the Suez Canal Sunday as part of the north-bound convoy.

 

A total of 64 vessels transited the waterway today from both directions with a total cargo of 4.1 million tons, he added in a press release.

 

The south-bound convoy included 31 vessels carrying about 2.1 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 33 ships carrying about 2 million tons, according to Rabie.
