Sisi underscores importance of work, calls it “sacred”

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has underscored the importance of work, saying it is something “sacred”.

Speaking during an “Able to Differ” ceremony to honor people of determination Sunday, Sisi said he cannot possibly stay without work to do.

He made it clear that his father has always been his role model, but he still learned from more than one model around him.

The government is exerting its utmost efforts, Sisi acknowledged, adding that “we are seeking to offer you the best.”

Basmala, one of the participants in the event, told Sisi she hopes to become a pilot and the president said he would ask the defense minister to let her board a plane with a pilot.

She also asked to have a picture with the president and he promised to pose for a picture with all the participants.
