H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received Peace Ambassador Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The meeting took place at the Al Rumailah Palace in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamad talked about issues relating to tolerance and its importance in promoting multicultural societies, as well as how it can contribute to conflict resolution and achieving peace among nations.
He also stressed that humanitarian action and inclinations play a pivotal role in the Emirati community and global societies by promoting justice, equality, tolerance, and understanding among diverse cultures while underscoring the importance of tolerance in building strong relationships and reinforcing peace and stability worldwide.
Sheikh Hamad noted that the UAE is among the most tolerant and inclusive nations globally, providing equal opportunities regardless of cultural or religious background.

Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, attended the meeting.
