Hasaka Governor discusses with UNICEF delegation increasing support of service sectors

Hasaka, SANA-Hasaka Governor, Dr. Louai Sayouh  discussed during his meeting with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) delegation, headed by UNICEF Representative in Syria, Bo Viktor Nylund means of increasing the support provided to the province, particularly  the service, health and education sectors and water.

During the meeting, Sayouh expressed the province readiness to facilitate the UNICEF team mission in the province to serve the interest of the citizens of the province.

For the Governor called for the need to provide more support to the educational, health and drinking water sectors and to intervene to tackle the conditions of thousands of children detained in the camps and prisons of the QSD militia.

For his part, Nylund voiced his organization’s commitment to provide its basic services, including water, healthy environment, education, food and child protection.
