Health Ministry: 39 new coronavirus cases recorded, 8 patients recover, 4 pass away

Damascus The Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 39 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 8 coronavirus patients recovered and 4 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria till now has reached up to 25,287, of which 21,774 have recovered, while 1,859 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
