IDSC seeks to create wide research base to achieve progress in pubic policy domains

The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) reiterated on Sunday keenness on creating a wide research base that contributes to achieving progress in domains of public policy through publishing journals as an important source of information in different research fields.

In a statement, the center said it also seeks to strengthen its status among the most prominent think tanks at the regional and global levels, referring to its win of the Bronze Middle East Stevie Award for innovation in the field of technology management, planning and implementation, in addition to being ranked among the top 20 think tanks in the world at the recent international conference grouping think tanks around the world which is held annually under the auspices of the American University of Pennsylvania.

The center said it is preparing to launch the first edition of the International Journal for Public Policy in January 2022 as a scientific periodical specialized in publishing researches and studies.

A host of Egyptian and foreign researchers and writers will take part in editing the journal that will be released every three months.

Researches will be examined by a number of researchers and specialists worldwide in the field of public policy to benefit from their expertise in ensuring the quality of published scientific researches.

This journal will use double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are kept hidden, the statement said.
