With the aim of inspecting the work situation in some health institutions and the pharmaceutical plants, Health Minister, Hassan al-Ghabbash and the Minister of Health and Medical Education of Iran Bahram Eynollahi ,toured many hospitals and pharmaceutical plants specialised in manufacturing drugs for chronic diseases and medical and cosmetic products ,in addition to the Center for Strategic Studies and the Health training.

Al-Ghabbash described Syrian-Iranian relations as deep-rooted and firm, adding that the Iranian Delegation’s visit will enhance bilateral relations to reach numerous agreement between the two sides, exchange expertise and visits, in addition to signing a set of agreements on the medical equipment and drugs.

Eynollahi, for his part, said the aim of the visit is to consolidate cooperation between the two sides in the health and medical sector, hailing the high-level capabilities of the health cadres in Syria that would strengthen further means of cooperation.
