The Municipal Council on Taybeh Jadidah, west of Irbid, named a roundabout square in the center of Deir as-Sa’na town after Bailsan Senjalawi, a girl victim who was killed by a stray bullet eight years ago. Bailsan, back then less than 2 years old, died when she took a stray bullet while she was with her family and in her father’s lap in a public park south of Irbid, and the incident was recorded against an unknown person. Mahmoud Hayajneh, A member of Taybeh Municipality Council, said that the municipality’s initiative, launched during the council meeting on Monday, comes as an affirmation and a reminder of the rejection of shooting bullets during occasions and weddings, in which innocent people fall victim.
