JERICHO: Colonists today seized around 20 Palestinian-owned residential shacks near al-Ma’rajat Road, northwest of the city of Jericho.
Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that a group of Israeli colonists seized 20 shacks used as shelters for local families who were forcibly displaced by the occupation in November 2023.
Colonists released their sheep into the barns and pastures of the indigenous people, causing significant damage to corps.
Israeli colonists and army have been escalating their attacks on the Bedouins and their lands in Al-Ma’rajat, northwest of Jericho with the aim of displacing Palestinians from their lands and change the geography and demography of the city.
