HEBRON: Israeli forces today demolished seven sheds as well as seized vehicles and trucks belonging to Palestinian residents during a military raid into the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Sources said that forces stormed the Wad Reesha area and demolished three sheds used by residents for scrap recycling.

Forces also seized two trucks loaded with scraps, in addition to bulldozers and vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of Shekels.

The occupation forces also raided the Khillet Ibrahim area of western Idhna village, demolished four other sheds, and confiscated several vehicles and a truck loaded with scrap owned by residents.

Forces reportedly imposed a curfew on the village residents during the demolition.

Such Israeli measures are part of the occupation policy of collective punishment against the town. The town has been under a suffocating siege and closure of all the main roads and dirt routes leading to it, which are often used by residen
ts to avoid Israeli checkpoints.
