Sources said a large unit of Israeli forces detained Omar Abu Aql, an ex-detainee in Israeli jails, after breaking into his house in the Kharouba neighborhood in the city, and tampering with its contents.

In a related context, the occupying military forces further raided the village of Arana, northeast of the city, where they carried out a massive search campaign, without any arrests being reported.
