At least six Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces last night and this morning across the occupied West Bank, according to local and Palestinian security sources. In Ramallah province, the occupying Israeli army stormed the town of Shukba and arrested two Palestinian young men. A third Palestinian, an 18-year-old teenager, was arrested in the village of al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah. In Jenin province, north of the West Bank, an Israeli army force stormed the town of Kafr Ra’I where they arrested a Palestinian young man after raiding and searching his family home. Meantime, confrontations erupted between Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian protesters in the town of Al-Yamun, northwest of Jenin, during which at least one Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire shrapnel. In Hebron province, south of the West Bank, an Israeli army force broke into Ras al-Jora neighborhood in Hebron City, where they arrested one Palestinian after raiding and vandalizing the furniture of his home. The Israeli army also blocked the main entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, in the Hebron province, forcing Palestinian drivers to seek alternative, longer routes, including dirt roads, to reach their destinations. In Tubas province, the Israeli occupation army detained a Palestinian young man while he was trying to cross the Israeli military checkpoint of Hamra, which straddles the main road connecting the city of Jericho with the northern regions of the West Bank.
