JORDAN VALLEY: Israeli occupation force tightened today their military measures and movement restrictions at the Tayasir and Hamra military checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley, blocking movement of the Palestinian traffic.

Sources said that the occupation stopped the movement of vehicles through the two checkpoints and checked their ID cards, causing traffic jams and long queues of vehicles.

Over the last few months, the two checkpoints have witnessed a surge in military restrictions and closures by the Israeli army, hampering civilians` freedom of movement and causing significant economic difficulties.
