Israeli occupation forces seized a Palestinian-owned bulldozer this evening in the town of Biddya, in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources. The sources informed told WAFA that the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer belonging to a local resident, who was identified as Taha Suleiman. The incident occurred while the bulldozer was being used south of the town. The Israeli occupation forces justified their action by claiming that the operation took place in an area designated as Area C. Area C refers to the sections of the West Bank under full Israeli administrative and security control, according to the Oslo Accords signed in the 1993. These incidents often spark tensions between Palestinian landowners and Israeli occupation authorities, as the appropriation of Palestinian-owned equipment and resources remains a troublesome issue in the ongoing Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
