Jerusalem, November 21: Scores of Jewish settlers entered the courtyards of the Al Aqsa Mosque on Monday, backed by Israeli occupation forces. The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that the settlers accessed the mosque through its Mughrabi Gate and conducted rituals that were described as provocative.

According to Jordan News Agency, Israeli forces heightened inspections and established more checkpoints on roads leading to the Al Aqsa Mosque. These measures have been in place since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza and the recent unrest in the occupied West Bank, resulting in restrictions on younger Palestinians entering the mosque.
