Amman: Jordan expressed its deepest condolences to Greece on Tuesday after a passenger train collided with a freight train near the city of Larissa, killing and injuring several people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates voiced the Kingdom’s solidarity with the government and people of Greece, offering condolences to the victims’ families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
