Amman: Activities of “Jordan Economic Conference 22” will kick off next Sunday, under the theme: “Jordan Web 3.0 Summit”.

In a press statement on Wednesday, the conference’s organizing committee noted all preparations were completed to host its 2-day activities, noting that it is the first-of-its-kind event held in Jordan and the region.

The conference will bring together a group of world experts with “distinguished” technical, practical and academic expertise in this field, as well as investors, blockchain developers, digital cryptocurrency traders, NFTs creators, and fintech startups, DeFi & Dapp projects, the committee added.

In their statement, the committee noted the conference is scheduled to highlight Web (3.0) initiatives, innovations in crypto and blockchain technologies, NFTs and Metaverse trends, and future of decentralized finance.

A “large” group of local, Arab and int’l institutions, various economic and energy sectors, banks, and financial and information technology companies are taking part in the conference, the statement pointed out.
