The Foreign Ministry in Jordan Friday welcomed the signing of the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces on a Saudi-US-brokered agreement on basic principles in Jeddah. The Ministry expressed its “hope” that the agreement and the humanitarian obligations to protect civilians and uphold the international humanitarian law is a “first step to be followed by other steps that contribute to the return of security and stability to brotherly Sudan.”
