“Liqaa” honored Dr. Ruba Saba Habib with an evening, which was attended by the Director-General of the National Library in Beirut, Dr. Hassan Al-Akra, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Writers Union Dr. Elias Zgheib, a group of poets, writers, the people of the pen, the people of honor, and members of the “Liqaa”.
The celebration was presented by the poet Mireille Abdullah Shehadeh, and it included three stations: a symposium on the honorable, in which Dr. Joseph Yaghi El-Gamil spoke, Dr. Laila Shams El-Din, the president of the honorary “meeting”, Dr. Yousra Al-Bitar, and its president, Dr. Imad Younes Feghali.
The celebration included a song from the words of the celebrated, her melody and her performance on the oud, the artist Hana Sharanq, and she also presented a bouquet of songs from her melodies, and the third stage was a poetic evening for Ruba.

And the words of each of Joseph Al-Jamil, who said: “We cannot separate your person from poetry, for you are the melody and the poem, and you are the butterfly of fields and minds, smelling the fragrant places, writing, but playing, at the heart of our souls, the symphony of luminous creativity.”
As for Dr. Shams El-Din, she said: “When you speak up, we cannot help but listen to your letters as if they were a glorification of prayer.
Al-Bitar noted, “The Lady of Comparative Culture and Comparative Literature,” and said: “Do not open your palm, the spring of love will flow in the forests.”
Feghali considered that “Ruba is a poet, not because she writes poetry, but because her words drop essential poetry on the altar of sacred creativity.”
