Several Palestinians were shot and injured with live ammunition and dozens of others suffocated by tear gas during confrontations that broke out tonight in the Nablus area, according to sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus.Sources said that three youths were shot and injured by live fire; two of whom were struck in the in the foot while the third was shot in the chest and hand, during confrontations that broke out at Huwara military checkpoint to the south.Dozens of others reportedly suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired at them by the military soldiers.In the meantime, similar confrontations erupted at the military checkpoint placed at the entrance of the town of Beit Furik to the east, during which forces attacked Palestinians with stun grenades and tear gas canisters, causing several people to suffocate.
