March 4 to mark 1st day of Shaʽban

The National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research announced on Saturday that Friday, March 4, 2022 will mark the first day of Shaʽban of the Hijri year of 1443, the institute’s president Gad el Qady said.

The crescent moon of the month of Sha’ban will be born at 7:35 pm (CLT) on Wednesday, March 2, he noted.

It will be 29 days only this year, he added.

Shaʽban is the month that comes before the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
