Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed, on Monday, with new Finnish Ambassador in Cairo Pekka Kosonen joint cooperation.
Abdel Ghaffar congratulated the Finnish diplomat on assuming his new post in Egypt, saying he is looking forward to achieving further cooperation with Finland in higher education and scientific research field.
The minister commended distinguished relations binding Egypt and Finland, paying tribute to the history of fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the different research and scientific domains.
In turn, Kosonen said he is ready for completing constructive cooperation with Egypt, praising development works in the higher education system in Egypt.
