General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan said on Thursday 13/10/2022 that the board of trustees of the dialogue will hold a meeting in a few hours to resume setting a timetable for the sessions.
Rashwan said that the board of trustees gave all the participants, whether state bodies, unions, individuals, and public figures in the dialogue an opportunity to nominate persons for discussing specific topics, and briefs on every suggested issue or topic, as the National Dialogue is a platform for exchanging proposals and outcomes, and not an open discussion.
He pointed out that the board of trustees should receive the suggestions, and if a single topic has a consensus, it will be sent to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. However, if no consensus was reached, the board would send all the suggestions to the president without voting on any of them.
