President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attends the Graduation Ceremony of New Batches of Military Cadets

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived on Thursday 13-10-2022 at the premises of Military Academy to attend the graduation ceremony of new batches of military cadets.

El-Sisi was received by Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki, Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Osama Askar, senior Armed Forces leaders, a number of ministers and senior statesmen.

The show started with a group of helicopters hovering the skies carrying the Egyptian flag and the flag of the Armed Forces.

The students also shaped the number of their batch with some formations and chanted the national anthem.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi performed the military salute to the souls of the martyrs, and then balloons with the photos of the martyrs of the Armed Forces were launched in the air.

Afterwards, Graduates performed a show manifesting their physical fitness, self-confidence and skills.

The Military Academy has won “the ISO 14001″ Certificate on environment quality.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed the handover ceremony of new batches of cadets from Egypt’s military academies.

The graduates then took the oath of allegiance and pledged to respect the rules of their colleges.

El-Sisi awarded outstanding students Military Duty medals in appreciation of their academic excellence.

Director of the Military Academy Ashraf Salem Zaher presented a souvenir (the Holy Quran) to President Abdel  Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The top graduates presented the president with the Shield of Egyptian Universities.

Afterwards, a documentary conducted by the Armed Forces’ Morale Department was screened during the ceremony featuring prominent military leaders in recognition of their heroic acts.

Director of the Military Academy Ashraf Salem Zaher delivered a speech, in which he stressed that defending homeland is not an option but a sacred duty, saying: “defending the homeland is not a choice but a sacred duty.”

He also said today’s ceremony coincides with October War victory which is a great day that is engraved in the minds of all Egyptians.

He thanked the Armed Forces’ General Command for its constant and unlimited support to the directors and teaching staff of military academies on preparing and qualifying cadets.

Zaher further vowed that the EMA will spare no effort to educate and graduate cadets who are able to assume the national duty.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delivered a speech during the graduation ceremony of a new batch of military cadets.

President El-Sisi said that Egypt has succeeded in uprooting terrorism completely, affirming that Egypt is standing on solid ground and is more capable than ever of facing the various challenges and crises.

He added that Egypt will undoubtedly overcome the current difficult stage by the will of Allah Almighty, pointing out to the Covid-19 crisis, which Egypt has successfully managed to overcome.

President El-Sisi further affirmed that security and stability are one of the main pillars for the progress of any country.

Commending the crucial role played by the army and police in Egypt, President Sisi also hailed the efforts exerted by the 104 million Egyptians, asserting that Egypt will overcome this difficult stage.
He highlighted that the graduation moment is considered an important milestone for each and every graduate whether from one of the military academies or any other university.

He stressed that persistence is a huge key to overcoming the various challenges, saying: ” Two years ago, we were in a ceremony the same as of today, but we were all wearing masks due to the Covid-19 crisis, and we thought that there would be no end for this crisis, but thanks to Allah we have overcome the crisis and the ensuing one,” adding “We will also overcome the current crisis by the will of Allah.”
President El-Sisi said Egypt has witnessed a rise in terrorist attacks since 2014, adding that he was sure that this difficult stage will pass.

President El-Sisi affirmed “We are standing on solid ground, and we do not have daunting challenges like the rest of countries, thanks to the security and stability in Egypt.”

Directing his speech to the graduates of the military academies, President El-Sisi pointed out to the great role played by the army officers.

President El-Sisi also referred to the sacrifices made by the army officers not only through the past 7 or 8 months but also during the October 1973 War.

The president, also, congratulated the graduates, wishing them success and praying to Allah to protect them from all harm.

At the end of the ceremony, the national anthem was played.
