Vice President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Khalid Abdulaziz Al Shaer received Australian Ambassador to Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Mark Donovan.

The meeting reviewed the institution’s role in human rights issues.

It also discussed common interest topics and ways to enhance cooperation.

Donovan expressed his appreciation to NIHR’s efforts in protecting and promoting human rights in Bahrain, and wished the Kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
