One was killed and seven others were injured in clashes that broke out inside the Ain-El-Hilwe refugee camp in the south between members of Fatah Movement and other Islamic groups.
The deceased was identified as Fatah member Mahmoud Zbeidat.
Following his death, clashes intensified, prompting the various Palestinian factions to step up efforts to contain the skirmishes.
