BETHLEHEM: A Palestinian young man was injured by a live gunshot today during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces at the entrance to the village of Al-Doha, in the southern West Bank province of Bethlehem, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said a young man in the twenties of age sustained injuries from live ammunition, specifically in the foot, during the confrontations. He was promptly taken to Beit Jala Government Hospital for medical treatment.

Additionally, more Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to the inhalation of toxic tear gas deployed by the Israeli occupation forces.

The confrontations broke out as Israeli troops stormed entered both the village and the nearby Dheisheh refugee camp, conducting a raid on a car rental company in the former. Confrontations ensued on the outskirts of Dheisheh, during which Israeli soldiers used live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades.
