Partly cloudy skies, showers expected in some regions

Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by relatively cold and wet northwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere, the Meteorological Department said.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be cloudy in the coastal, central and southern regions, with a chance for showers over these regions, according to the Department’s Monday bulletin.

At night, the weather will be cold, while frost and fog are expected over the mountains and some inland regions,

The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

The bulletin added the expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/4, Daraa 15/5, Homs 15/4, Hasaka 15/3, Tartous 18/11, Aleppo 13/6, Deir Ezzor 15/9.
