PM follows up on implementation of development, service projects in Sharm El Sheikh

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has presided over a meeting to follow up on the implementation of various development and service projects in Sharm El Sheikh.

 

This came as part of presidential directives to carry out projects to transform Sharm El Sheikh into a green and sustainable city.

 

These projects include the establishment of the Sharm El Sheikh municipal building and a central park, as well as the installation of more ATM machines to serve citizens and foreigners, the expansion of the smart transportation system and activation of the visual identity of the city.

 

Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar Enaba said the development of the Sharm El Sheikh airport will be finalized by August 2022.

 

The premier issued directives to allocate 130 million pounds to carry out the first batch of such projects.
