PM instructs continuing renovation of archaeological buildings in Old Cairo

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Saturday 08/01/2022 that the government was eager to continue its key development project for all the archaeological buildings in Historic Cairo, to restore the civilized advantage of such historical, and ancient area.

 

Madbouli’s remarks came during a tour of some development projects, aimed at reviving the Cairo’s neighborhoods.

 

Accompanied by Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani, Housing Minister Asem el Gazzar, and Cairo governor Khaled abdel Aal, Madbouli affirmed that the state has paid a great interest to renovating and developing the archaeological areas and sites, as they are important tourist destinations, which could attract visitors around the world.
