RAMALLAH: Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said that Israel’s belief that it could act with complete impunity encourages it to continue committing crimes.

Shtayyeh slammed the occupation’s measures and attacks against Palestinians as war crimes punishable under international law and international humanitarian law.

The Prime Minister condemned the storming of hospitals by Israeli forces, the field executions against patients on their beds and terrorizing patients and doctors, citing the early morning assassination of three Palestinians in Ibn Sina Hospital in the city of Jenin by undercover Israeli forces.

He further denounced attacks against hospitals in Gaza, including the killing, detention and torture of paramedics and doctors at the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City.

He called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to intervene urgently and take action to stop the genocide in light of Israel’s refusal to abide by the court’s ruling.
