President Mahmoud Abbas phoned today King Abdullah II of Jordan, stressing the necessity of working with all parties to ensure an end to the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people everywhere, specifically in the Gaza Strip.President Abbas stressed during the phone conversation the importance of delivering relief and medical aid to the people in the Gaza Strip.He also reiterated that the political solution and ending the Israeli occupation of the land of Palestine, with Jerusalem as its capital, is the only solution to all the escalation taking place in the region.For his part, King Abdullah affirmed that Jordan is making every effort and making contact with all international and regional parties in order to stop the ongoing escalation and ensure the arrival of aid to the Gaza Strip, reiterating his support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people until they achieve their full legitimate rights.
