Damascus, SANA-Prime minister, Hussein Arnous, discussed Monday with Minister of agriculture and forestry of Sudan, Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bushra and an accompanying delegation means of enhancing cooperation in the agricultural field, increasing trade exchange and activating the agreements signed between the two brotherly countries.

Arnous said Syria welcomes any steps to develop economic relations in the agricultural, research and scientific fields, and the establishment of joint investments which contributes to boosting the food security for the two countries in light of climate changes and the global food crisis.

In turn, the Sudanese minister affirmed his country’s willingness to enhance cooperation with Syria in the agricultural field and the need to invest the resources available in the two countries to secure their needs of goods and materials.
