Dubai, Public Security Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan today led Bahrain’s delegation to the World Police Summit, being held under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Lt-Gen. Al Hassan stressed the importance of the summit in supporting police work and maintaining the security and safety of people all over the world.

He noted the security programs, conferences and exhibitions related to technology and innovation in police work and its role in developing police specialties, in addition to the crime reduction, reduce crime, cybercrime and forensic science.

“Bahrain’s participation in the summit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to develop its capabilities and learn about the experiences of other countries and the available equipment, modern technological means and smart solutions for maintaining security and public order and combating crime”, he said. .
