Amman: Following Friday prayer, demonstrations were held in the Kingdom’s capital, Amman, and other governorates to show support and solidarity with the Gaza Stripe population and to denounce the Israeli occupation forces’ ruthless aggression, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of martyrs.
The participants, who reflect the political and social spectrums of Jordanian society, denounced the murders carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against defenseless Palestinians, the entry of food and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip, and the admission of medical personnel.
They also applauded His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts to provide aid to the people of Gaza, particularly establishing of Jordanian field hospitals that are working very hard to treat Gazans, as well as his positions in favor of the Palestinian people’s right to form their own state on Palestinian territory and his rejection of the displacement of Gazans.
