Rate of implementation works at first gas set of al-Rasteen station reaches 84%

Implementation works of the first gas set at al-Rasteen power station in Lattakia has reached 84 %, with the installation of the first gas turbine and the main transformer on its basic bases, and it is expected that its capacity will reach 183 Mega Watt out of the entire capacity of the plant, which is 526 Mega Watt.

 

The project director, Nazir Danoura, told SANA reporter that work is underway at a high pace and through several shifts to finish all civil, construction and infrastructure works in order to install the equipment upon its arrival directly.

 

He added that the turbine and main transformer of the gas set were installed on their basic bases.
