Relatively cold weather at night, frost over mountains

The country is still affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere as temperatures will continue to rise to become around average or slightly higher, according to the Meteorological Department.

The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while at night, the weather will be relatively cold, and frost is expected over the mountains, and fog is expected in some inland regions, according to the Department’s Monday bulletin.

The wind will be of changeable direction to southwesterly with a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/6, Daraa 16/8, Homs 15/7, Hasaka 19/8, Tartous 18/10, Aleppo 16/8, Deir Ezzor 20/8
