Moscow: Accusations of French mercenaries being present in Ukraine prompted the Russian Foreign Ministry to announce on Friday that Pierre Levy, the French ambassador, had been summoned.

“The French ambassador received complaints from Moscow regarding France’s increasing involvement in the conflict in Ukraine,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at a press conference. Evidence of Paris’s increasing involvement in the conflict was shown to him.”
