Geneva, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva has participated in the Human Rights Council Interactive Dialogue on the human-rights situation in Sudan.

Representative of Saudi Arabia to the U.N. Office in Geneva, Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila, delivered a speech welcoming the cooperation of the government of the brotherly Sudanese Republic with U.N. human-rights mechanisms, particularly the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, regarding its commitments to achieve stability and security in Sudan and improve the condition of human rights for its people despite the challenges facing the country.

The representative also called on the international community to continue extending support for the Sudanese government so it can proceed with achieving political, economic and social stability for the people of Sudan.
