Aqaba: Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) commissioner Abdullah Najadat said Tuesday that the authority is keen on developing public facilities, recreation facilities and infrastructure in neighborhoods and residential areas of the southern city.

In a press release, Najadat pointed to a 43 percent complete percentage of service projects being implemented in Aqaba at a total cost of 1.3 million.

These include infrastructure projects for newly-established malls and building and expanding more commercial centers in residential areas and setting up parks in other districts of the city with funding from the Governorate’s Council.

Najadat also pointed to road construction and rehabilitation and other work in various parts of the city.
