Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry heads for Rome on Wednesday 30/11/2022 on a visit to enhance Egyptian-Italian ties and attend the eighth edition of the Rome MED – Mediterranean Dialogues.
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani will receive Shoukry at the Italian Foreign Ministry to discuss a host of issues, including ways of boosting distinguished ties binding Egypt and Italy, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
The two sides will also probe ways of enhancing economic cooperation and luring Italian investments to Egypt, said the spokesman.
The spokesman further said that they will discuss a host of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of his visit, Shoukry is scheduled to meet with the FAO Director-General and the President of the International Fund of Agricultural Development (IFAD), said the spokesman.
