President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Wednesday 6/7/2022 that work is underway in the New Administrative Capital project that is being established through resources of the NAC Company for Urban Development (NACCUD).

The New Capital was not built by government funds, Sisi stressed during a ceremony to inaugurate a number of digital projects.

The NACCUD now demands an annual four billion pounds from the government for using the government district in the New Capital, the president told the ceremony, which is organized by the Ministry of Communications at the Al Manara International Conferences Center.

Sisi made it clear that the cost of secured digital networks in the New Capital is about 100 billion pounds.

He touched upon an automated government district that provides a favorable environment for digital action through data centers and the secured networks.

This way Egypt could transform from paper to digital performance using artificial intelligence, which costs lots of money, Sisi said.
