SMC: 3 terrorists killed by Iraqi F-16 strikes in Salah al-Din

Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced today Wednesday, the killing of three terrorists in strikes by Iraqi F-16 aircraft in Salah al-Din.

The cell said in a statement: According to accurate intelligence information from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, and with follow-up from the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, and through the heroes of the air force, Iraqi F-16 aircraft carried out 3 strikes, during which they targeted a terrorist group, within the Balkana Mountain sector on the outskirts of Salah al-Din Governorate.”

The cell added: “A force from the Counter-Terrorism Service went out, at dawn today, to search the targeted place and found three bodies of terrorists, their weapons and mobile phones, as well as equipment and documents belonging to ISIS members, and a motorcycle. Caves and hideouts of the enemy were also destroyed.”

It continued, “Our security forces, when they made a promise to pursue the remaining members of the terrorist gangs of ISIS, kept their promise, and here they are from time to time bringing good tidings to the Iraqi people in decimating the terrorists’ dens.”
