Baghdad, Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, affirmed Jordan’s support for Iraqi efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
Al-Safadi said in his speech at the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union conference: “A secure and unified Iraq constitutes an interest for the Arab nation, and the security of Iraq is a pillar of the security of the region.”
He added: “We will remain with the Iraqi people, and our position is clear not to prejudice Iraqi sovereignty.”
