Specialized topics towards more sustainable facilities at the 2nd International Conference on Building Engineering

Damascus, SANA- With the participation of a number of Arab and international researchers, the 2nd International Conference on Building Engineering started activities on Monday at Damascus University Auditorium under the title (Towards More Sustainable Facilities).

The conference is organized by the Higher Institute of Earthquake Studies and Research (HIESR), and it will last for three days.

“The convening of the conference is the best evidence of the start of recovery and the lifting of the scientific blockade, through the publication of Syrian research in the most important a peer-reviewed journal, in addition to the participation of 88 researchers from 13 Arab, European, Asian and African countries, in arbitration of 120 articles and 85 of them were accepted in large number of Arab and foreign countries.” Hala Hasan, Dean of HIESR Institute stated.
