Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy hailed on Friday the achievements made by Egyptian fencers at international sports events.
Sobhy was speaking while inspecting final preparations for the 2022 World Fencing Championships, to be held from July 15 to 23 at Cairo Stadium.
He welcomed the delegation of the International Fencing Federation. About 957 fencers and their accompanying delegations from 105 countries will take part in the tournament.
